Former Celtic striker-turned-pundit Chris Sutton has taken a swipe at Rangers and their late celebrations at Partick Thistle on Sunday, by claiming that the scenes shows 'how far the club have fallen'. Pedro Caixinha's side came from a goal down to secure a 2-1 win in the final ten minutes, thanks to goals from Barrie McKay and Joe Garner.
As Garner and Kenny Miller ran towards the fans to celebrate, a number of exuberant Rangers fans spilled out onto the pitch to celebrate with their beleaguered side.
But it was these scenes that Sutton mocked by stating that it shows how far the club has fallen, in a game they never looked like winning.
Rangers sit nine points behind Aberdeen in second spot and a huge 36 points behind champions Celtic, who beat Rangers 2-0 and 5-1 respectively in the space of two weeks.
