Scottish football fans react to Keith Jackson winning Journalist of the Year!

The Scottish Press Awards were held to celebrate the great and the good of journalism in Scotland, but it seems that one award winner on Thursday night caused many to be left flabbergasted.

Daily Record Sports Columnist, Keith Jackson, picked up both the Sports News Writer of the Year and Journalist of the Year at the awards bash. But despite this double success for Jackson, Scottish football fans took to twitter to openly mock the decision and the man himself:

Jackson was recently banned by Rangers over his articles about the club, who followed Celtic's lead who banned Jackson last season over articles related to Celtic and Peter Lawwell. And with Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha looking to plug the leaks in the dressing room to the media, will Jackson be able to make it seven years in a row next year!

Yes, he has won Sports News Writer of the Year six years in a row!

Last Ditch Tackle is unashamedly passionate about Scottish football, with a heavy Celtic slant.
