Rangers are to release veteran defender Clint Hill at the end of the season after just one season at the club, as Pedro Caixinha looks to build his own squad. According to the Daily Mail, Hill was informed of the manager's decision on Tuesday and is now on the look out for a new club to continue his career.
The 38-year-old has made 31 appearances for the Scottish Premiership side this season after Mark Warburton signed him last summer.
With Rangers desperate to close the gap on six-in-a-row champions Celtic, Caixinha will look to offload some of Warburton's signings to bring his own touch to the beleaguered Ibrox side.

Caixinha has been linked with a move for Al-Gharafa defender Rashid Sumaila, who played under the Rangers manager during his time in Qatar, and with the player announcing his departure from the club on twitter it looks as though many Rangers fans are putting two and two together.
Last Ditch Tackle is unashamedly passionate about Scottish football, with a heavy Celtic slant.
