Police Scotland have announced that they are investigating the scenes at Celtic Park on Sunday after an element of the Celtic support unfurled a banner and set off flares.The banner display and flares were set off in the 67th minute to honour the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions' 1967 European Cup win.
A Police Scotland statement read: "We can confirm that enquiries are being carried out following the Celtic v Hearts game at Celtic Park on Sunday 21 May 2017 where pyrotechnic devices were set off during the match.
"We will be working with our partners and the clubs to identify those involved who showed a blatant disregard for the safety of other people in the stadium."
Celtic beat Hearts 2-0 to end their league campaign unbeaten, the first Scottish club to do so since the 19th century.
