Celtic have qualified for the next qualifying round of the Champions League after a 0-0 draw in their second leg against Rosenborg on Tuesday night.
Rosenborg dominated the first 45 minutes, with Marius Lundemo having the best chance of the game testing Craig Gordon with a powerful header.
Brendan Rodgers' side were better in the second half, with Odsonne Edouard and Scott Sinclair coming close to breaking the deadlock, but it was Rosenborg who found the back of the net late on but Tore Reginiusses's effort was disallowed after a foul on Craig Gordon as the two challenged for an aerial ball.
The goalless draw meant Celtic's 3-1 first-leg win was sufficient to beat the Norwegians.
Celtic will now play host to AEK Athens next Wednesday, with the second leg taking place a week later in Greece.
Rosenborg will drop into the Europa League where they will face Cork City.
Last Ditch Tackle is unashamedly passionate about Scottish football, with a heavy Celtic slant.
