Celtic have been drawn to face Russian outfit Zenit St.Petersburg in the last 32 of the Europa League. Brendan Rodgers’ side will face Roberto Mancini’s side, who finished third in the Russian League last season.

Zenit secured qualification to the knockout round of the competition by topping their Europa League group, which consisted of Real Sociedad, Rosenborg, and Vardar – winning five and drawing once as they finished the stage undefeated scoring 17 goals and conceding five in the process.

Celtic finished third in their Champions League group despite winning only one of their group games against Anderlecht but progressed thanks to a better head-to-head than the Belgian side. The first leg of the last 32 tie will be played on 15th February at Celtic Park, with the return leg a week later in St.Petersburg.
