Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has succeeding in overturning his red card from Saturday's Premiership match against Hibernian.

Jack was given his marching orders by referee John Beaton for violent conduct in the Ibrox side's 3-2 defeat. Television replays showed that the midfielder moved his head towards Hibs striker Anthony Stokes in an apparent head butt.

The case was heard by an independent panel at Hampden Park on Thursday and Beaton's decision, which would have seen Jack miss both the Hearts and Ross County, was overturned on appeal.
